Effort of the City and Mayor Miguel Pulido to save the Enterprise Zone program were successful with the program remaining intact. The program was targeted for elimination by Gov. Jerry Brown as part of his effort to close a projected $25 billion budget deficit. The Santa Ana Enterprise Zone encompasses more than 16 square miles of industrial and commercial land, including the Brookhollow Business Park. Businesses already in the Zone can qualify for benefits, as well as new businesses relocating or expanding into Santa Ana’s EZ.
The program offers various ways to businesses to effect significant savings. For more detail, please refer to the following information or visit http://www.ci.santa-ana.ca.us/cda/EnterpriseZone.asp
