Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to perform routine accounting tasks that will support our financial/Accounting team.

Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices. If you have a background in Accounting and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases (Yardi Breeze)
• Compile and sort invoices and checks
• Process payables and issue checks
• Prepare bank deposits
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Mail checks to both other businesses and employees
• Match work orders to invoices
• Place checks in envelopes and mail out.
• A/P Vendor file management
• Financial/Bank Statement management

Requirements
• Work experience as an Accounting Clerk or Bookkeeper
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarity with finance regulations
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
• Organization skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
